Corinne Day - THE FACE

Walking around London is always a sourprise..Discovering places, people and exhibition is what I like the most!Today I've been to The Face exhibition based in Gimpel Fils Gallery at Davies Street, London.
The photographs are just some of the images created by Corinne Day for The Face magazine in th early 1990. Impressive the way Day has captured the natural and fresh beauty of the models, and of course, Kate Moss was the protagonist.

The Face, 2 September-1 October 2011- Free entry.

Peggy Guggenheim

Marguerite Guggenheim. Or Peggy Guggenheim.(1898-1979)

This woman always give me good and positive vibes when I look at her pictures. I love her way of be herself, her inbred confidence and her eccentric lifestyle. Incredibly, still fashionable Peggy!
Just before she died:: "I look back on my life with great joy. I think it was a very successful life. I always did what I wanted and never cared what anyone thought. Women's lib? I was a liberated woman long before there was a name for it."
A must have: "Out of this Century" autobiography of Peggy Guggenheim.

To visit: Peggy Collection at Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, Dorsoduro 701, I-30123 Venice, Italy.
